R/UDAT Study
from the Staten Island Advance

Results of Staten Island shoreline study being made public tonight
September 25, 2008

Staten Islanders want to walk down to their beach fronts.
They want to bike along marshy paths and cast fishing lines into a clean harbor.
They want public transportation improvements, decent jobs and places for their kids to play.
The American Institute of Architect's Regional/Urban Design Assistance Team (R/UDAT) has heard what Staten Islanders want and will present their recommendations tonight on how the borough might realize the untapped potential of its shores.
