The Army Corps of Engineers has notified the St. George Civic Association that starting about August, 2008, they will begin the next phase of the dredging plan that is likely to include drilling and blasting around the St. George area.

The SGCA has arranged to have the Corps present a video and answer questions at our next meeting, June 3rd at the Brighton Heights Reformed Church, 320 St. Mark's Place, at 7 P.M.

i am acting as liaison between the Corps and the neighborhood. The web addresses below are intended to provide some background information about what's involved in the project, and to help in formulating questions to ask at the meeting. The map above shows the dredging area.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if i can be of assistance at any time during the project.
